A few more variations

Brief Correction

Here's the one that should be up there....

So for another class we were given the assignment of a Passion Project where we were told to find something we were passionate about and at the very least to create a thorough and clear creative brief. If we had time and the desire, then we were to execute, or at least comp out the idea to actually make it happen. The idea I came up with came out of the fact that I can't ever seem to find one, single website that houses a list and location of all the different kinds of ad agency's. I'm constantly hearing about new ones, one's I know of other's done... so why isn't there a place that does this in a creative and easy-to-follow way?

And here's were Agency Gate comes in. Yes, I'm somewhat tied to this name as I have impulsively already purchased the URL. So, the name is not in question. I wanted to show you all the "brief" I've done (the map since I wanted something fun and somewhat humorous in title), and a first round of logo ideas. Please feel free to be completely honest about both the idea and the design elements as I have never really done either. Thanks and feedback is definitely appreciated!

Oh, and I don't know how I managed to get my entry center. I just started typing and that's where it started, so I apologize for that. :-)

We would use these lines to give hints at a story utilizing billboards one after the other. i.e. the billboards people see everyday sitting in traffic to and from the bridge. The image we have is coming into the city across the bridge with two billboards in one frame. We would change these every 2 weeks or so until the story is complete.

1. This is something dirty.
I want the world to watch.

2. You make me tremble.
   You make my toes curl.

3. There’s only one way to turn you on.
Your distinct chatter gets me every time.

Wire Print copy

About Us

We are 6 graduate students at the Academy of Art in San Francisco that were given the assignment to create something we could implement. We landed on the idea of wire frames when we realized how hard advertising students have to work to get the quality and size wire frames necessary to present well.

What it’s for

We are all constantly learning and will always be students of advertising no matter our age or experience level. Wireprint.com is a site built by students for students. It is a site for wire frames of all mediums to be viewed and downloaded. Anyone can create a good ad, but to place it just as well is another story. Presentation is everything.

Directions

1. Choose the medium.
2. Select the image.
3. Download

Email Subject Line: Present well. Placement is everything.

Email Body:

Placement is everything in advertising. You might be able to create great ads, but to place it well is the hardest part. Wireprint.com has the largest variety and highest quality wire frames available all in one location. It’s FREE and easy. All you’ve got to do is:

Choose your location. Choose your image. Download.

Kickstarter Poster line re-write- PLEASE give your opinions

Hey everyone! We are trying to take this line and make it sound more positive. I've tried re-writing it several times but I'm unsure on what works best. If you could give your opinions it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

ORIGINAL: Maybe it is the one off-the-wall, chance that out of the blue I'll succeed.

NEW:

It's that one off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance that I'll succeed that I strive for.

It's that one off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance that I live for.

It's that one off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance that I strive for.

It's that one off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance that I strive for. I've finally found it.

I live for that one off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance that I'll succeed.

This could be that one off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance that I'll succeed.

This could be that one off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance that I'll succeed. That's enough for me.

I'll take any off-the-wall, out-of-the-blue chance if it means I'll succeed.

ORIGINAL: It took a while for reality to set in, but when it did I couldn't have been more grateful.

NEW:

It took a while for reality to set in, but when it did I can't have imagined it any other way.

It took a while for reality to set in, but not that it has, I can't imagine it any other way.

Now that reality has set in, I can't imagine it any other way.

Kickstarter: App: Page 2: Round 2

These follow the line "Dreams are followed" on the first page of the application. I think these go more along the lines of "You never fail. You just didn't succeed the first time."

1. 1st, 2nd, or 120th draft... as long as you get there.

2. As long as you make it, it doesn’t matter how long it takes.

3. Step 1, step 2, step 5 or step 10. Just keep going.

3. This is the only thing that you have complete control over.

4. The only thing you have control over is your dreams.

5. The only thing you have control over: your dreams.

6. The only thing you have control of is your dreams.

7. You can either give up now or see where it can take you.

8. You can either stop now or see where your dream takes you.

9. Success will only come when you make the decision to move forward.

10. You have two choices: 1. Go after yours. or 2. Don’t

11. Step 1: Decide what you want. Step 2: Go after it.

12. Just because the first one didn’t work doesn’t mean the 2nd won’t.

13. The 1st time may not work, but the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th one might.

14. The 1st time may not work, but that doesn’t mean the last one won’t.

15. You might not succeed the 1st time, but the last time will.

16. The 1st try may not work, but the last one will.

17. The 1st try may not work, but the next one might.

18. Take as many tries as you need to make it work.

19. Figure out what you want. Go after it.

20. Figure out what you want and then go after it.

21. Figure out what you want and then sort out the details.

22. Figure out what you want. Sort out the details. Watch it grow.

Everyday Catalyst Handouts

Here's what we've got for templates, the logo as a sticker, and packaging for handing out. The first three are large and meant to be slightly over-sized.

These three are business card sized and can easily be put into a wallet.

Thoughts please!

Kickstarter: App: Page 2

All of these lines are meant for a phone/ipad application meant to help people still processing out their goals to brainstorm the ideas they have. Screen number 1 of the app reads: Dreams are followed.

These are possible lines for screen number two meant to have something to do with helping to create or brainstorm. Thoughts please!

1. You never fail. You just didn’t have it right the first time.

2. You just didn’t have it right the first time.

3. There’s a reason they call it a brainSTORM.

4. First you must create.

5. The first step is to create.

6. And they all begin by creating.

7. And they all start at creation.

8. And this is the first step.

9. This is the first step.

10. You have just taken the first step to meeting yours.

11. This is the first step to meeting yours.

12. Now yours at your fingertips.

13. And they are in your control.

14. And yours are in the palm of your hand.

15. One click and its yours.

16. But first they must be created.

17. Imagine. Create. Succeed.

18. Success comes with action.

19. Create your dream.

20. Help it come true.

21. You have more power than you think.

22. You just have to take the first step.

23. You just have to initiate the movement.

24. Help speed up the process.

A few things for Wireprint.com

Proposal

The Final Product: A full-service website that carries wire-frames for different advertising mediums.

The Purpose: Advertising junkies (students and professionals alike) are constantly having to search hundreds of sites for the perfect framing and quality placement for the ads they have created. Frameit.com is a site that allows these people to go to a single website, select the medium they are looking for, download, and print to multiple sizes. This will also allow everyone to have possible placements in different cities throughout the city, state and eventually the world.

The Future: In the long-run, users will be able to subscribe to the site and submit their own images as possible additions to the library of images.

Email Intro

Wireprint.com is a website conceived and executed by students for students. This website was created for the sole purpose of making your life easier when putting the advertisements you created in position. We have all experienced the painstaking work of going through site after site of trying to find the right image with the perfect angle and perfect quality. Well, we go tired of having to do this so we’ve decided to create one website that holds all of those wire frames.

We have everything from print and outdoor to online and ambient. For right now we are the few that will be making the additions to the site, but soon enough we’ll be asking for submissions not from just across the country but from around the world. So come check it out: www.wireprint.com. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to email us. If not, just enjoy the site.

Sincerely,

Wireprint.com Staff

How to use the site: I’m not sure what all the pages will be so here’s my best shot...

1. Choose the medium that you’re envisioning.

2. Select the image of your choice to see a larger view.

3. Click Download if that’s the one you’d care to execute with.
